The ForgeDMC Toolkit

A modular Lua toolkit for WoW addon developers. The project organizes reusable building blocks around native game APIs, including addon lifecycle, events, settings, saved data, and interface helpers. It is a development library rather than a standalone gameplay interface: addon authors include the modules needed by their own projects.

Get started

Installation & setup

  1. Download the toolkit archive and read its developer integration guide on CurseForge.
  2. Choose the Lua modules needed by your addon; include them in your addon’s load order as described by the toolkit documentation.
  3. Test your addon on the supported Retail client. This is a developer framework, so installing it alone does not provide a standalone player dashboard.
